Hij kwam op 7 mei [[1841]] vanuit Bredevoort naar [[Beek]] als opvolger van [[Zweep, Martinus|pastoor Zweep]]. In november [[1864]] ging hij met emeritaat en werd opgevolgd door [[Woerkom, Godefridus van| pastoor Van Woerkom]]. Hij bleef in Beek wonen, waar hij op 25 december [[1878]] op 78-jarige leeftijd overleed.<br />
