Staande achter ’t huis De Steeg bij grenspaal no 689 en onder de Steeger bruine beuk leek het&#160; beekje voor een oogenblik een zilveren draad met een diamant aan het einde, zoo schitterde de zonnelicht in ’t kristalheldere stroompje. De zon kwam bij ’t opgaan achter den zuidhang van den Hulsenberg heen kijken.
